Japan Composite Co., Ltd. was established in April 2003 by Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. and Nippon Shokubai Co., Ltd. with the objective of strengthening the unsaturated polyester resin and molding materials businesses. As a leading company in the Japanese market, our management philosophy is to provide customers with unsaturated polyester resins and molding material–related products that deliver competitive advantages in cost and specialized functionality, while maintaining harmony with the global environment.
In April 2023, we merged with JC Kako Co., Ltd., which had been established in December 2020 following the acquisition of DIC Kako’s business. Through this merger, we built a new organizational structure and established an integrated business platform covering the entire value chain—from raw resins to molding materials and press molding processes—centered on unsaturated polyester resins, molding materials, and press molding operations.
Leveraging this integrated business model and the advanced expertise accumulated as a specialized manufacturer, Japan Composite is committed to promptly delivering products that meet customer expectations and to providing comprehensive solutions to customer challenges, particularly in the fields of housing equipment and mobility.
